Besides a new high-sensitivity receiver the eTrex Summit has features not found in your typical GPS. Its barometric altimeter provides accurate elevation reporting and records elevation profiles so you can track your total ascent over distance and time. The electronic compass displays direction even when you're not moving. Like all eTrex GPS the Summit HC is waterproof. With 24 MB of internal memory you can store 50 routes, 500 waypoints, additional uploaded maps or 10 tracks TrackBack home. Color screen. Weight: 5.5 oz w/batteries (not included).
